You shouldn’t have to go out your Star Wars Galaxies adventure by yourself. As a new player you can join a player association, also known as a SWG Guild. These consist of at least 5 members, one of which is the group leader.

The benefits of joining a Star Wars Galaxies Guilds far outweigh the disadvantages of playing solo.

1. Make friends that you can rely on and go on missions with.
2. Achieve a goal that cannot be executed alone. For example if you want to go on a difficult SWG quest or compete in a large scale battle, you’ll need your guild members at your side.
3. You may want to form a new city. New cities can be formed without a guild but an organized group working together to achieve a main goal makes the process so much easier. This also gives your SWG guild a place to call home.
4. Make a name for yourself. There are successful Star Wars Guilds that have become famous in the game.
5. Form a crafting company. Your guild can specialize in one area of trader or recruit all specializations of traders.

Choosing a SWG guild to join should not be taken lightly. If you don’t pick the right guild you end up facing the cons of bad leaderships, conflict, , favoritism, warped sense of teamwork, and the list goes on.

Today I’m going to share a SWG cheat with you. It is older and commonly known but it is still working as of today.

SWG Cheat: Padding the group to increase spawns

Requirements
Entertainer as a group leader
Combat character in your group

• The combat character finds a location where there are non agro mobs or a location that is a bit off from a place holder mob set
• The entertainer calls their 3 holos (expertise) and groups them
• The entertainer uses the flight of the veteran in the same house to go to the the combat’s location
• The entertainer calls another 3 holos so you’ll now have 6 holos. With the 6 holos, the combat and the entertainer, you’ll have a full group of 8 to increase spawns
• You can also substitute holos with other characters you want in your group

You can get bigger spawns from missions with this method and chances are you’ll be looting rare treasures as well.

Requirements:
Two good friends or two accounts that you can use
A few camps with shuttles

Directions:

1. Group with your friends and have them get ready to shuttle to waypoint of your choice
2. When they get to the waypoint, send it to them and have them shuttle to the nearest shuttle port
3. Next drive to the waypoint and tell them to drop the camp and use a Group Pickup Point
4. Than right click your name and pay the credit (it’s about 300) to port to the camp. You’ll make up the 300 and more with the mission reward that you’ll gain
5. And lastly, turn in the quest

Benefits:
You save about 7-10 minutes per run

A Star Wars Galaxies quest or mission is a task that is given to you by an NPC (non player character). When you’ve completed the quest successfully you’ll be given rewards such XP, credits, or items. Some quests may require you to belong to the Rebel or Empire Alliance. With others, you may even have to be a Combatant.

Before you start a quest, I recommend that you make use of a SWG walkthrough. Not all quests have been updated since the NGE (New Game Enhancement) and some only give few if any rewards so it is important to know which will benefit you the most.

SWG quests are typically divided into certain group:

Minor Quests
These are old SWG quests that are assigned by NPCs throughout the game. They give few rewards but are recommended to all players since they play an important part in the story line and you can also get transfer items by completing the quests.

SWG Quests by Combat Level
These quests require a specific combat level

Star Wars Galaxies Legacy Quest
This is a long series of quests that is designed to take a beginner character from level 1-55 and beyond.

Quest by Planet
Quests are listed by the planet but may lead you to other players

User-created Quests
What you may not be aware of is that there are also more the 3 million user-created quests that have been made using the Chronicle Master system. There is one player who alone has created over 6,000 SWG quests!

The number of quests available in the game can be a bit overwhelming but just remember, there are plenty Star Wars Galaxies strategies available to make sure that you’re never without help.
