Throughout the year the Ewoks celebrate their beliefs and practices by hosting festivals. One of these festivals is the Festival of Love which is an annual event to honor the kinship and love between tribe members. The Ewoks celebrate by preparing meals, dancing, and singing traditional songs such as this one which you can sometime hear in the distance when visiting Forest Moon:

Dugun duca lula ludia nuna, dounga, luna nudia!

The Ewoks are friendly in nature and open their festivals to outsiders. If you want to celebrate with them than visit the hosting cities: Tyrena on Corellia, Kaadara on Naboo, and the Southern Ewok Lake Village on Endor, by March 10, 2011.

There are several Festival of Love activities to participate in. Upon completion of these activities, you’ll be rewarded with Ewok Chak Hearts which can be used at one of the vendors to purchase Festival of Love rewards.

SOE has announced that this year’s Star Wars Galaxies Fan Faire will be help in Las Vegas on August 5-8, 2010. This annual event allows players to meet and interact with the developers of SOE games. Some other games that are featured are EverQuest, Legends of Norrath, PlanetSide, and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

Activities featured at the event include:

• Special announcements and sneak peaks up upcoming SOE titles
• In-game tournaments and live game themed competitions, and quests
• Developer forums and roundtables
• Cool giveaways and other fun items

This SWG event allows also allows players from all over the world to come together and share their love of the game and get to know some of the faces behind their favorite game. They also get a firsthand look at what future plans SOE has for the games.
