Today I’ll be introducing a simple SWG macro that is used to do your crafting in the game. Star Wars Galaxies crafting can be a time consuming process that can take up endless hours of your time when you could be doing something fun instead.

To save you time and to save you from sore fingers that come from the endless clicking you can get a SWG macro to do the work for you. A Star Wars Galaxies macro is a program that will do things for you in the game automatically so you don’t even have to be at your computer.

You can now literally do your crafting while you sleep!

1. Step one is to download the program: Star Wars Galaxies crafting macro
2. Step two is to install AutoIt which is a free program found on the net

Requirements

• SWG needs to be in windowed mode
• Make sure the Interface -> Object icon rotation is OFF

The Keymap -> Actions can be fired from toolbar has to be ON

This is a handy little SWG trick to keep entertainer buff when logging out.

This will be helpful for you if you want to keep your Star Wars Galaxies entertainer buff after you log out or if you’re tired of getting new entertainer buffs because you had to change toons for a bit.

The solution is simple. Do the following:

• /startd basic
• Logout

Once you log back in your entertainer buff will still be there. The success rate for this is about 99%.

Here is how you can use this:

1. Log out while dancing
2. Play on another toon on the same SWG account
3. Log in again with the first toon after a few hours
4. Your SWG entertainer buff will still be there

SWG Tip: This will not work overnight since the entertainer buff will decay at the same rate that it would if you were logged in with that toon. It will work though if you are only logged out for about 2-5 hours.

When it was initially released, Star Wars Galaxies started out strong; in 2003 it was the second most popular MMO behind Everquest 2. However, shortly after that in the galaxy far, far away something went incredibly wrong and the game went from one of the best to one of the worst MMOs almost overnight.

Some of the complaints about SWG include the lack of rich content and that the incentive structure for gameplay is weakly developed. This is especially true for below 90 levels. A major criticism about the game is that there is nothing to do until you reach the high levels so most players will afk grind from 0-90 to basically skip the lower levels of the game.

Skip boring gameplay with SWG bots

This can be done with legitimate in-game macro commands or some take it a step further by using SWG bots, which are more advanced and human-like, to do the leveling.

Use SWG glitches to your advantage

Another downfall of Star Wars Galaxies is that it is incredibly buggy, filled with flaws and glitches that still haven’t been fixed after all the years. This can be a negative aspect of the game or you can turn it into something positive by using the flaws to your advantage in the form of Star Wars Galaxies exploits.

Sure the game is not perfect but many players still enjoy playing it. To make for a better gaming many manipulate it to their liking by using other resources such as SWG mods, hacks, and tools. Whether you want to change the look and feel of the game, change your character, or level up overnight, there are sure to be resources available to make that happen.
