Today I’ll be introducing a simple SWG macro that is used to do your crafting in the game. Star Wars Galaxies crafting can be a time consuming process that can take up endless hours of your time when you could be doing something fun instead.

To save you time and to save you from sore fingers that come from the endless clicking you can get a SWG macro to do the work for you. A Star Wars Galaxies macro is a program that will do things for you in the game automatically so you don’t even have to be at your computer.

This is a handy little SWG trick to keep entertainer buff when logging out.

This will be helpful for you if you want to keep your Star Wars Galaxies entertainer buff after you log out or if you’re tired of getting new entertainer buffs because you had to change toons for a bit.

The solution is simple. Do the following:

• /startd basic
• Logout

Once you log back in your entertainer buff will still be there. The success rate for this is about 99%.

Here is how you can use this:

1. Log out while dancing
2. Play on another toon on the same SWG account
3. Log in again with the first toon after a few hours
4. Your SWG entertainer buff will still be there

SWG Tip: This will not work overnight since the entertainer buff will decay at the same rate that it would if you were logged in with that toon. It will work though if you are only logged out for about 2-5 hours.

When it was initially released, Star Wars Galaxies started out strong; in 2003 it was the second most popular MMO behind Everquest 2. However, shortly after that in the galaxy far, far away something went incredibly wrong and the game went from one of the best to one of the worst MMOs almost overnight.

Some of the complaints about SWG include the lack of rich content and that the incentive structure for gameplay is weakly developed. This is especially true for below 90 levels. A major criticism about the game is that there is nothing to do until you reach the high levels so most players will afk grind from 0-90 to basically skip the lower levels of the game.

You’ll need a level 90 Entertainer or Trader. If you don’t have either than go here for assistance: SWG level macro: level 80 entertainer in 2 hours

Directions:

1. Install the program to your SWG directory
2. Open Star Wars Galaxies
3. Go to a respec councilor and choose the trader profession
4. A popup with 8-9 options will appear, Choose LevelHack #
5. Go and kill a creature or npc
6. Repeat 3-5 for LevelHack 1 to 7 when respeccing
7. Logout for 45 minutes or so
8. Log in to your character, you will be presented with a respec screen automatically forcing you to change profession. Choose Final Step from the Trader popup menu
9. Open your inventory and locate the newly acquired respec device with 10 uses available. Use the respec device to select your final combat profession choice
10. Enjoy you Level 90 SWG character!

A Star Wars Galaxies exploit is basically a bug or glitch in the game that one can use to their advantage. New game patch will oftentimes fix these glitches so if you want to benefit from them it’s important to get to them immediately. Throughout the year the Ewoks celebrate their beliefs and practices by hosting festivals. One of these festivals is the Festival of Love which is an annual event to honor the kinship and love between tribe members. The Ewoks celebrate by preparing meals, dancing, and singing traditional songs such as this one which you can sometime hear in the distance when visiting Forest Moon:

The Ewoks are friendly in nature and open their festivals to outsiders. If you want to celebrate with them than visit the hosting cities: Tyrena on Corellia, Kaadara on Naboo, and the Southern Ewok Lake Village on Endor, by March 10, 2011.

There are several Festival of Love activities to participate in. Upon completion of these activities, you’ll be rewarded with Ewok Chak Hearts which can be used at one of the vendors to purchase Festival of Love rewards.
